AURORA BOREALIS ...

“The sight filled the northern sky; the immensity of it was scarcely conceivable.

As if from Heaven itself, great curtains of delicate light hung and trembled.

Pale green and rose-pink, and as transparent as the most fragile fabric, and at the bottom edge a profound and fiery crimson like the fires of Hell, they swung and shimmered loosely with more grace than the most skillful dancer.”

~ Philip Pullman

Ancient Greek poets used the name ‘Aurora’ to praise the dawn and the play of colors across the sky.

Aurora was also the Roman goddess of the dawn, traveling from east to west announcing the coming of the sun.

To celebrate its undeniable beauty, we’ve captured its very essence into our best-selling pièce de résistance …

PURPLE HAZE ...

When Jimi Hendrix first released ‘Purple Haze’, people described it as a psychedelic experience.

Hendrix perceived it as a love song …

To my mind, both were right.

You see … perception is a funny thing …

It has this incredibly transformative power of changing your relationship with the world.

You have it in you … everything you need … to turn a negative into a positive.

Cognitive-behavioral therapy places perception at the very core of the whole healing process …

Where thoughts influence behavior and the way we feel.

Whatever your perception …

I believe the universe has this funny way of putting things into perspective.

“There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception.”

~ Aldous Huxley

May the doors you open lead to good vibes only …

RED SEA ...

The Book of Exodus portrays the parting of the Red Sea as a miracle of biblical proportions.

Science on the other hand offers a vast array of alternative explanations …

Historically, there’s no archaeological evidence of the phenomenon ever taking place.

Another theory claims that the Israelites and Egyptians experienced a mirage.

There’s also some research pointing out the effect of strong winds on the parting of the water.

In any case … I found an incredible source of inspiration at the very core of the Red Sea story.

You see … this tale isn’t really about whether or not the parting happened.

It’s about belief.

The power to shape reality. To change the course of your life. And even to influence the state of the world we live in.

It’s how we’re able to draw all kinds of portraits simply by connecting the stars in the sky.

It’s how we find meaning in life.

RAINBOW SKY ...

Life is all about the choices you make …

You are free to live it in black and white, or whatever shade of grey that tickles your fancy.

But it’s best lived in full color!

Whenever I’m lucky enough to catch a rainbow in the sky …

I don’t just consider it to be this magnificent play of lights.

It’s a reminder of all the possibilities …

A literal Joie de Vivre ‘Bat-Signal’ in the sky.

And I just love that it shines the brightest after a really bad storm.

That’s why I consider it to be nature’s beacon of hope.

And it always shows up just when you need it the most.

So, don’t you ever forget to look up, no matter how much life’s pressing you down!

YELLOW FLAME ...

Science explains the various flame colors to be the consequence of temperature, type of fuel, or the completeness of the combustion.

That’s why it’s usually hottest at its core and why we get to experience a breathtaking play of colors with every fire.

It’s just surreal … how a single spark can ignite an epic blaze … a flaming dance of all kinds of shapes and colors.

That’s how we found our very own yellow flame.

It’s the result of a surreal imagining of a sky caught on fire.

Inspired by sun flares, cyberpunk fiction, and the revolutionary acts of mankind.

To serve as a reminder of our most volatile and chaotic natures.

And yet … there is incredible beauty in chaos.

The kind that never asks for your attention, but most certainly demands it.
